How do I set up a round-robin league for my team?
Use the fixture generator: enter all team names, choose single or home-and-away format, and the tool produces a full schedule. For n teams, a single round-robin requires n×(n−1)÷2 fixtures across n−1 rounds. Then use the league table tool to track results — enter scores after each match and standings update automatically. Both tools store data locally in your browser.
What is PPDA in football?
PPDA (Passes Allowed Per Defensive Action) measures how many passes a team allows the opposition to complete before making a defensive action (tackle, interception, foul). A PPDA of 6 means the defending team makes a defensive action every 6 opposition passes — aggressive pressing. A PPDA of 12+ indicates a passive, deep defensive block. Elite high-pressing teams (Manchester City, Liverpool) typically operate with PPDAs of 7–9.
How many players can be on a football match squad?
In professional football, a match day squad for competitive first-team games is typically 18–20 players (11 starters, 7–9 named substitutes). Substitutions permitted vary by competition — Premier League allows 5 substitutions from 9 named on the bench. Grassroots and school football often use rolling substitutions with no fixed limit. Mini-soccer (under 7s and 8s) is played with smaller squads and no goalkeepers at the youngest ages.
